Business Analyst (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: £45,000
Location: Hybrid - Birmingham or Northampton office

Opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has come up to join a Legal Sector Client as they look to bring in a Business Analyst to cover Maternity cover for 12 months. This is where you come in! They need someone like you to join their busy but friendly and sociable Projects & Innovation team to help them to continue to achieve all that we are aiming for and beyond. You will also be part of, or, individually running projects to deliver process improvements or introducing new cutting-edge technology into this exciting law firm.
The Business Improvement team is also responsible for identifying, scoping, planning and executing transformational projects for the firm. The team also supports the delivery of large scale projects that improve processes, provide efficiency, enhance the control environment, support business growth activities and implement new technologies.
Main responsibilities:
• Liaise with key stakeholders in the identification and development of improvements to current business systems.
• Introduce and oversee implementation of new technology and systems.
• Evaluate business requests and advise on suitability and implementation.
• Carry out full business analysis to include requirements and solution.
• Conduct technology research within the legal market.
• Manage the delivery of projects into the associated sections.
• Carry out and manage testing of any solutions prior to implementation
• Produce accurate and concise documentation.
• Work under pressure according to tight deadlines
Skills and qualifications:
• Self-motivating with a flexible approach.
• An inquisitive and analytical mind.
• A methodical and accurate worker, able to see tasks through to the end.
• The ability to express ideas clearly in speech, email and documentation.
• The confidence, maturity and stature to deal effectively with colleagues in all parts and levels of the business.

Role-specific knowledge and expertise:
• Experience of running Agile projects.
• Experience in process and requirements analysis
• Experience of Business Process Reengineering
