Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Installer specialising in the installation, inspection, and commissioning of Verkada CCTV systems for commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for first fix and second fix installations of both internal and external CCTV cameras on construction sites. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to work independently while adhering to site safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:

• First Fix Installations: Install cabling infrastructure for Verkada CCTV systems, including mounting brackets, conduits, and cable runs (Cat6/Cat5e) for both internal and external cameras.
• Second Fix Installations: Install and mount Verkada CCTV cameras, ensuring proper alignment, securing connections, and integrating cameras with the network.
• Commissioning: Perform full commissioning of CCTV systems, including configuration, testing, and validation of all cameras and related hardware/software.
• Inspection: Conduct inspections to ensure installations meet technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with camera functionality, power supply, network connectivity, and image quality.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and commissioning activities. Provide site supervisors with reports on progress and completion.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations, including the relevant codes of practice for CCTV installations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Experience in the installation, inspection, and commissioning of CCTV systems, and performing CCTV Test monitor reports.
• Tools & Equipment Required:

• Terminating Tools: (RJ45 connectors for Cat6/Cat5e cables).
• CCTV Test Monitors: CCTV test monitors to verify camera angles, focus, and image quality during installation.
• Power Tools: Power drills, screwdrivers, and other hand tools necessary for mounting and securing equipment.
• Network Testers: Network testing tools to verify cable integrity and connectivity.
• Multimeter: Multimeters to test electrical connections and power supply.

• Certifications: Valid ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is required for site access & IPAF A&B (Boom & Scissor)
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of IP camera system installation and testing.
• Safety: Adherence to health and safety protocols on construction sites, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices and working from heights and platforms.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and clients.
