Data Solution Architect - Up to £120,000 Fully remote (UK) No Sponsorship

Our client who has just been named in Glassdoor’s top 50 places to work in 2022, is looking for a Data Science Manager to join their growing team. Despite being a well-established company they are currently going through massive growth and are looking to expand their data science divisions. 

They specialise in business transformations, usually across the financial, healthcare and public sectors. A large focus of this role is successful delivery of large-scale, high-quality solutions. You will provide guidance and support to the data analytics teams by understanding the outcomes which the solution is trying to achieve, the data implications and complexities around your teams designs. As well as this you will work closely with the stakeholders to provide data architectural principles and strategic insights.
Essential Experience And Capabilities
  • A strategic architect with a hands on approach.
  • Solid professional experience in security, performance tuning, capacity planning, resilience and availability across heterogeneous architectures.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire technical staff, as well as non technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance project demands with those of the wider organisation.
  • Can lead planning activities and ensure that the team and client delivers to them.
  • Experience of leading a technical engagement or solution, making all the significant decisions that affect technology choices and approach.
  • Detailed understanding of data tools, techniques, methodologies and best practice.
  • Exposure to three or more architectures and technologies having successfully applied them in a professional environment.
  • Capable of providing technical thought leadership and guidance to clients.
  • Has previously lead data analytics whilst helping organisations adopt appropriate technologies.
  • Leads architecture. Ensures successful deployment whilst setting necessary standards throughout.
  • Ability to Devis and estimate on cost, winning engagements for sales proposals.
  • Highly capable, hands-on, Data Analytics leader.
