Data Engineer
Location: Nottingham / Hybrid working (between 2-4 times max travel to the office each month).
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Up to 40% Bonus!

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Contributing towards data solutions in line with the data strategy, architectural vision and roadmap.
- Participate in data engineering chapter meetings.
- Working in alignment with the standards agreed in the Data Engineering Chapter
- Working with a team of talented people as part of an agile delivery team following Scrum Principles
- Ownership of data engineering solutions ensuring quality and standards are met.
- Supporting the recruitment process for data engineers
Technical Skills:
- Highly proficient in T-SQL
- Highly proficient in ETL Process Development
- Highly proficient in Data Modelling
- Some Experience in Data Warehousing dimensional modelling techniques.
- Good knowledge of data engineering technologies, such as SQL Server, Azure data lakes, Azure data factory, Apache Spark etc
- Some experience in .NET C# or PowerShell
- Some experience in the usage of a version control system
- Good understanding of application security concepts, including securing production applications and delivery pipelines
- Good understanding of systems required in delivering commercial finance products, and how they fit together (i.e. loan origination systems, loan management systems, collections systems)
- Good understanding of data governance concepts such as data ownership, data stewardship etc
