Salary: £55,000 - to £58,500
Location: Birmingham / Hybrid (2 times a month in the office maximum)

A truly fantastic and innovative organisation have put in plans to grow their Analytics team (currently a team of 3 other Data Engineers / BI Developers) and are on the look out for x2 more to join the team.


Role and Opportunity:
In this role, you will play a huge part within the Technology & Transformation teams – and this group is a proud and data hungry organisation where tracking, managing and reporting on their performance information is really important, it helps them recognise their successes and stay on track to achieve their vision of‘Making What Matters Brilliant’. You’ll contribute to the success of the organisation by designing, developing and delivering Business Intelligence solutions; from eliciting and defining stakeholder needs, to delivering solutions and ongoing support and maintenance, while also getting the opportunity to learn and work with Azure, along with your pick of trains courses that the organisation will pay for (Usually 2 courses of your choice each year), so you’ll get the chance to stay ahead when it comes to working with the latest and best tech.


A key part of role this is interfacing with internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of cyclical projects; being the technical expert in the project team and presenting demos of-tools and platforms. Our ideal candidate? 


Relevant experience required for the role: 
  • Data warehousing 
  • Data Modelling and optimisation
  • An understanding of ETL processes 
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Power BI
  • Stakeholder Management 


Desirable:
  • Azure
  • Data Factory
  • Databricks
