Data Science Manager - Up to £120,000 Fully remote (UK) No sponsorship

Our client who has just been named in Glassdoor’s top 50 places to work in 2022, is looking for a Data Science Manager to join their growing team. Despite being a well-established company they are currently going through massive growth and are looking to expand their data science divisions.
They specialise in business transformations, usually across the financial, healthcare and public sectors. A large focus of this role is successful delivery of large-scale, high-quality solutions that use AI and ML technologies to provide solutions and impact the lives of users worldwide.
You will provide guidance and support to the data science teams by understanding the outcomes which the solution is trying to achieve, the data implications and complexities around your teams designs. As well as this you will work closely with the stakeholders to provide data architectural principles and strategic insights.

Minimal Requirements
- Experience leading different sized teams and providing guidance on data production challenges (AI/ML service, complex data migration, data platform).
- Able to breakdown machine learning model designs and explain clearly to non technical stakeholders.
- Lead the development of ML models, data processing, data storage and AI/ML solutions.
- Ability to understand solution architecture concepts and demonstrate this clearly to non technical stakeholders.
- A demonstrated ability in managing, coaching and developing junior members of the team.
- Significant hands on experience with cloud platforms such as: Azure & AWS.
