Senior DevOps Engineer
Remote

Job Purpose:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you must be able to design, develop the build, release and deploy toolchain for DevOps.

Job Purpose:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you must be able to design, develop the build, release and deploy toolchain for DevOps.
To be successful in this role you must have experience in the following:
- AWS
- Containerised systems: Kubernetes and Docker
- Developing software to automate production systems with either: Python, Golang, Ruby, Java (Python or Gloang preferred)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Cloud automation principles
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Source control, CI/CD pipelines: GIT, Jenkins, Herness etc
- Strong experience with configuration management, monitoring and system tools: Salt, Ansible, Chef, Nagios, Graphite, Fluentd, Vector etc (Ansible preferred)
- Automation and monitoring: Splunk, NewRelic, Cloudwatch etc
