As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing our development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure and services.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and orchestration.
- Develop and maintain Docker containers.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process, e.g. GitLab.
- Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Write Python scripts for automation and custom tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in AWS services and solutions.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Solid programming skills, especially in Python.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of other programming languages and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
