Job description

I am now recruiting for a Digital Account Manager to join a forward-thinking, talented team of creative professionals at an agency based in the heart of Birmingham. If you are looking for a role in an agency where your ideas are listened to, there is plenty of support for personal growth, and no day is ever the same, then read on…

After a period of growth, my client is looking for an Account Manager to act as the main point of contact for their ever-expanding client portfolio. The right candidate will have some experience in account management (perhaps as an executive or a project manager) and will be comfortable interacting with a variety of seniority levels, both within the business and their client base.

Location: Birmingham (hybrid)
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

  • Proven past experience in account management, with a demonstrable understanding of liaising with clients on a brief, and delivering expectations at a first-class level
  • Experience working with clients from the property or construction industry would be advantageous
  • The confidence to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • The ability to work across multiple projects at once to a strong professional standard
  • Happy to work on client presentations and pitches
  • Confident in delivering the client brief to the team of digital designers and developers, relaying information accurately so the design team can deliver to the best of their ability
  • An understanding of the design process would be ideal but not compulsory
  • You will be comfortable creating and delivering project timing plans
  • Agency experience is preferred, but in-house applications will be considered too
  • A strong understanding of marketing channels and the digital environment is required

In reality, this agency is just looking for a confident, digital professional to join their team, work with some great clients and have a bit of fun along the way! Ultimately, you will be a strong communicator, have a background in client management, and will have a keen interest in the Digital process.

What do you get in return? The role is hybrid- meaning you can work from home for half your working week. Aside from the other usual benefits including pension plans, competitive salary, sick leave, this agency also offers 30 days holiday (and extra at Christmas), frequent socials to test out some of Birmingham’s best pubs and continued career support for their employees.

If you have got this far, and this role sounds like something that you can see yourself doing, please email me: sophie@digitalwaffle.co or apply using the link!
