Ecommerce Product Designer

£65,000 per annum.

Our client is one of the UK’s biggest e-commerce platforms for small creative businesses, and due to their success in the past few years, are now looking to expand their tech and design team to fulfill their growing customer experience needs. The ideal Product Designer for this role will be of a medium/senior level and will have heavy experience in designing beautiful aesthetics for e-commerce platforms previously.

Main Job Duties:

• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team.
• Design meaningful, enjoyable, and usable experiences for customers across multiple platforms (web and iOS/Android apps).
• Understand the needs of users and use initiative to improve the entire e-commerce experience.
• Create beautiful user interfaces.
• Mentor the more junior product designers.

Key Skills/ Experience Needed:
 

• A well-presented portfolio is ESSENTIAL.
• Heavy experience designing for different types of platforms (native apps, mobile web, and desktops).
• Experience designing for e-commerce or online marketing platforms.
• Previous usage of Figma, Sketch, and Zeplin.
• Ability to refine other people's ideas and create new ones to produce incredible visual experiences.
• Ability to take a product from the research phase all the way through to the finished product.
