Our client is a young development agency offering bespoke software products. They work with small start-ups to help bring their ideas to life, grow their products, and help raise investment. They dream BIG - working on a range of products including single-page applications, static websites, and mobile apps.
Role: Frontend Developer
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: Up to £60,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Flexi working hours, regular team meals + more
They are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You ideally will have worked with React for several years in a commercial capacity, whilst training and on-the-job experience will be given, they are expecting somebody to come on board and hit the ground running within their first week!!

Job Responsibilities:
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Unit testing frontend code and components
- Using tools like StoryBook for component documentation
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Working alongside backend engineers to connect RESTful API endpoints
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular state management (such as Flux or Redux)
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with Git
- Familiarity with Next.js
Nice-to-Haves (But not necessary)
- Multi-project experience (Agency)
- Familiarity with SASS
- Familiarity with React Native
- Experience with Project Management tools (such as Jira)
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Worked in start-ups
