Job Role: Head of Engineering

Salary: Up to €180k

Location: Berlin – offers hybrid working

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Engineering to join a company that offers an AI-powered product management tool to retailers, distributors, and brand owners. You will lead the technical strategy, build a world-class engineering team, and scale the AI-powered platform. The role demands a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for solving complex problems. You will be responsible for the architect and execution of their technology roadmap whilst driving AI innovation to enhance the product offering.

Skills you should hold (with a minimum of 6 years experience):

• Thorough retail and/or e-commerce knowledge
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute technology strategy, aligning with business goals.
• Technical Expertise: Oversee system architecture, set technical standards, and guide the team.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Enterprise Tech, SaaS, and AI/LLMs.
• Execution Focus: Drive project delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Strategic Thinking: Develop long-term technology vision and roadmap.
• Leadership and Communication: Inspire, motivate, and communicate effectively at all levels.
