What will your job look like?

Working as part of the IT infrastructure team, deliver end to end infrastructure change, maintenance, and support. Infrastructure change should align with and contribute to the IT Strategy, with User Experience and Cyber Security at the core.

What will you be doing

• Responsible for providing operational support for IT Infrastructure services, ensuring high levels of service availability are achieved.
• Responsible for taking ownership and resolving incidents assigned to the team by the First or Second line of support, ensuring they are dealt with within the agreed SLAs.
• Ensure escalations of incidents from the First or Second line are handled efficiently.
• Provide out-of-hours/on-call support cover as needed.
• Ensure that all IT services are constantly reviewed to ensure
  they are secure, backed up, and recoverable in the event of
  data loss, system failure, disaster or cyber attack.
• Take ownership of the security of IT services, ensuring Cyber
  Security is robust at the core of each system, including system patching, and maintenance of security measures such as firewall, email/web filters, and antivirus.
• Challenging each IT implementation and development to
  ensure Midland Heart’s IT Strategy is adhered to.
• Adhere to change management process and ensure that IT
  policies and procedures are effectively applied.
• Liaise with 3rd party support providers where necessary.
• Monitor systems and produce projections of capacity for
  Vmware, storage, and WAN services. Identify trends and make
  recommendations based on this data.
