About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a critical transformation project, focused on migrating legacy on-premise infrastructure to Azure. This role offers a competitive day rate of £500 and falls outside IR35, giving you the flexibility you need. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end infrastructure moves, decommissioning outdated systems, and overseeing significant upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Moves & Decommissioning: Plan and execute the migration of on-premise legacy infrastructure to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Decommission obsolete systems effectively, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
  • Infrastructure Migrations: Oversee the migration process, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear communication and ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Utilise your expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage project timelines, deliverables, and team collaboration effectively.
  • Upgrades & Enhancements: Manage infrastructure upgrades to enhance system performance and align with future business needs.

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven Experience: A strong background in infrastructure project management, with specific experience in managing infrastructure moves, decommissioning, and large-scale migrations.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with on-premise legacy systems and cloud technologies, specifically Azure.
  • Methodologies: Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop proactive solutions.
