Digital Waffle is working in partnership with a care specialist company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven IT Asset and Ordering Administrator

Job Role:

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure and Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective IT Asset administrative function for the business. You will collaborate closely with other colleagues within IT to process orders, build equipment to specification and ship them out to the customer.

The role will often require engagement with business staff to facilitate and resolve issues with orders, delivery, and the collection of IT assets from across the UK, so a calm and engaging attitude with excellent customer service skills is important. You will also need to be able to record asset information and process orders accurately, requiring a good eye for detail.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to do the following:
  • Process requests and orders for new IT equipment, services, and software.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT licenses and assets.
  • Where appropriate, work with third parties to fulfill order requests and tasks.
  • Input and manage IT procurement requests, including receiving IT invoices, matching invoices to orders, obtaining relevant sign-off for orders and invoices, and working with the Finance team to ensure efficient governance and payment of IT spend
  • Work with third-party providers and IT management solutions to maintain Voyage Care’s mobile phone fleet.
  • Assist in the build and deployment of end-user IT equipment.
  • Arrange the distribution and collection of IT equipment across the organization.
  • Any other duties consummate with the post and/or hours of work, as may be required of you at your initial place of work or at any other of the company’s establishments.
  • Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with a proven history in administration
  • Demonstratable excellent organizational skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and deal with constantly changing priorities.
  • A confident communicator, with the ability to converse with staff at all levels.
  • Accurate record-keeping with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills with knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of tasks to ensure completion on time.
  • It would be desirable that the successful candidate would have an interest in IT as many of the functions require a fundament understanding of IT.
