Java Software Engineer

Are you a confident developer using Java with experience using Spring and want to work for a company that provides an agile and holistic working environment?

Our client, a new and growing German digital agency, is searching for a Java Engineer to be the newest edition to their evolving team. Having recently acquired a competitor, you would be working for a company that works with some of the biggest brands in Germany. Offices are located in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Dusseldorf, however, the majority of job roles are remote within Germany.

As a result of this business growth, they are looking for a number of developers ranging from junior to lead engineers.

This role requires you to:

• Design digital technical concepts and architectures
• Take an active role in the development of tools and processes.
• Work efficiently both individually as well as being a confident leader for other team members.

Essential/Desirable Skills:

• Competent user of Java (ideally with the Spring framework)
• Strong knowledge of both written and spoken German is essential (B2 level and above)
• A degree in IT would be desirable
• Experience with Tomcat is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience working with SQL
