Lead Engineer | Start-up

Location: Berlin / Hybrid

Our client is looking for an Engineering Lead to work hybrid from Berlin. They are looking for a polyglot who has proficiency in a range of different tech stacks to ultimately shape the foundations and decide on the right software for the company to use moving forward.

Role and Opportunity:
Alongside creating a complex software product, you will also build a high-performing engineering team to tackle development alongside you, coding the first iterations of products and making key technical decisions. Your role, after deciding upon the Tech Stack the company will move forward using, will be to co-design and build the companies MVP, setting up foundations within the back-end of software development such as climate data and calculation models, actively participating in pilot projects and gaining insight from users to the implement into further development.

Relevant Experience required:

• Have experience leading and enjoy managing teams
• Have built full-stack applications
• Have preferably worked in an early stage startup
• A passion for food and a love for the environment
