Lead GCP DevOps Engineer
Remote (UK)
£500 a day (Outside IR35)
6 Month initial contract - likely to be extended to 1 year
Digital Waffle is working in partnership with an exciting organisation with an unbeatable culture. They’re looking for an experienced Lead GCP DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team to extend and mature the infrastructure to be more operationally excellent, secure, reliable, performant and scalable.
Job Purpose:
To be successful in this role you must have experience in the following:

- Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience of working with Consumer Facing Web Apps
- Working with Scrum Teams
- Working in a smaller organisation - start-ups or SMEs
- Containerisation and Orchestration: Kubernetes and Docker
- Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform
- CI/CD e.g. Jenkins or Github
- Operating System: Linux
