Digital Waffle is currently partnered with a company that is on a mission to disrupt the stale outdated ways of supply chain and elevate it to be faster, more efficient, and greener.

As the Lead Software Engineer, you will be leading a small, growing team of Software Engineers inspiring them to produce consistent high-caliber work, and collaborating with many members within the team such as Product Managers to scope future products.

Role: Lead Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £80,000
Location: London (Hybrid)

What your day-to-day will look like:

• You will be responsible for leading, inspiring, and the overall development of a small, rapidly growing team of developers
• Collaborating with members in the UX, Design, and Product teams to scope future products and being the bridge between technical and non-technical
• Provide your technical expertise towards software tools and Tech-Stack, in an effort to never become stagnant or avoid unneeded technical debt.

What Skillset you will hold:

• Extensive experience within C#, .NET Core, or PHP
• Modern Front-End frameworks/libraries such as React
• CMS Experience with WordPress or similar like Umbraco
• Proven experience leading teams of software engineers
• The ability to understand products and other goals in the business and translate them into technical strategies and clear solutions
