London - Remote

Digital Waffle is working with a well known technology Company based in London but offers fully remote working. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Network Security Engineer.
Job Purpose:
The ideal candidate for this position will have good knowledge of network security and be able to regularly update the network's hardware, software, and security components to maintain an optimal level of protection.

- Implement detection systems.
- Implement firewalls.

- Unix or Linux Operating Systems
- Understand network architecture, protocols, and hardware.
- Involve other departments in the planning and implementation of security systems.
- Research new security techniques to counter new attacks and vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current security techniques.
