Office 365 Data Engineer
Remote
£40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits
This role is fully remote
Digital Waffle is working in partnership with a care specialist company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Office 365 Engineer
Job Role:
The purpose of this role will be to exploit the many opportunities to improve data handling functions already available to the business via its deployment of the online Microsoft 365 platform as well as the management and operation of the existing legacy data hosting platforms hosted in other locations.
As the business moves further into its public Cloud-based future, the successful candidate will need to maintain an expert understanding of the potential offerings and opportunities that could further enhance the IT Operations in the data landscape.
A significant part of the role will be to ensure all business data is backed up securely and that these backups are regularly tested to ensure business confidence is high when in the unlikely event of requiring data restores, we would be able to meet all objectives and requirements with the minimal amount of disruption.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:

- Provide technical experience in data storage opportunities and usage within Microsoft 365.
- Management and migration of a data storage platform to SharePoint Online
- Implementation and operation of Microsoft 365 Data Loss Protection
- Implementation and operation of other Microsoft 365 data compliance and governance services.
- Advice and assist in the development and deployment of IT security across the entire spectrum of the business's IT systems.
