Digital Waffle is currently partnered with a company that specialises in intelligence-driven cybersecurity, They are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their talented development team.
They aim to use their intelligence-driven cybersecurity solutions to detect and identify threats earlier and more efficiently.
Role: Principal Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £100,000 (Negotiable)
Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Role: Principal Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £100,000 (Negotiable)
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
What your day-to-day will look like:
- You will be responsible for the development of specs and collaborating with multiple stakeholders within the business
- Designing and Developing various features within their platform, and contributing towards design in code reviews.
- Writing clean, readable code that is efficient, testable, and recyclable.
What Skillset you will hold:
- Extensive hands-on experience within Java, Ruby, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, and CI/CD Tools
- You will show you are a proven problem solver
- Experience with creating and designing distributed data processing
- Solid understanding of network protocols: SSL, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, and TLS.
