Role: Product Data Manager
Location: Wimbledon / Hybrid
Salary: £80,000 (May go higher for the right person)


A fantastic opportunity has come up to work for one of the fastest scale-ups in the UK, that have doubled in size over the past 2 years. Because of the progression and further funding of millions of pounds of recent investment, they are now on the lookout for a Senior Technical Product Manager

They are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, inquisitive (wants to know how things work), an enthusiast who is passionate about how software products and technology can help people to communicate better so for this role you must have good experience with databases, SQL and using API’s.

This opportunity will allow you to have a voice and also the chance to shape the future of the group. Problem-solving is a key skill you will need as you will be responsible for taking something from an idea to completion. There is also huge potential to make a really big impact and accelerate your career at a growing and profitable technology company.


ROLE
  • Responsible for taking a project from idea to completion
  • Work closely with both the development and design teams to take features from concepts to release
  • Researching, investigating, and understanding which features / components would be good to add to the group
  • 'Playing' with a multitude of successful software solutions, including API docs.
  • Creating wire-frames of how it would look and feel in the group
  • Writing up business cases and presenting them to the team
NOTEYou will need to understand and be able to use SQL databases, APIs and have a good grasp of code.


Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience working in a software company in a product, or software development role.

  • Knowledge of databases, SQL and using API's.
  • Able to work alongside developers & designers, comfortable with holding technical conversations
  • Understanding of how to manage a product roadmap and expectations.
  • Ability to learn and understand new technology products quickly.
  • Keen eye for detail and passionate about optimising for the best possible outcome.
  • Experience working in a small and fast-moving team.
  • A great presentation style, teamwork and fantastic communication skills are a must.
