Digital Waffle is now working with a boutique IT consulting business who are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join their team in a permanent position. This is a fully remote position based on the East Coast, USA. The client works with smaller teams of the most talented people to get the best results in their business, so every team member has a passion for what they do. 

The client is looking for someone creative and energetic to fit in with their team. They enjoy problem-solving and finding solutions to complex problems so the ideal candidate has to be positive with a can-do attitude. 


Location - New York (Remote), East Coast
Role - Product Owner (Software Product Delivery)
Salary - up to $150,000 DOE


Role Description - 

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to define product vision. 
• Work closely with the engineering team to break down product requirements into a clear and concise understanding of the product vision and goals.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring that it is always up to date and reflects the most current priorities. 
• Lead an Agile team with support, implementing effective technical solutions. 
• Analyse market trends and competition, and incorporate these insights into the product strategy and roadmap. 

Product Owner position requirements - 

• Must have a software engineering background 
• At least 5 years experience as a Product Owner
• Degree in STEM subject or computer science 
• Confidence working with Agile processes and principles 
• Passionate, driven and positive energy 
• Strong communication skills
