Senior Full-Stack Engineer | Los Angeles | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
Salary - $150K-$155k
An exciting opportunity has arisen to add a Senior Full-Stack Developer to our small but growing engineering team to bring market-leading applications to the Environmental Health sector. This post has a genuine opportunity for career progression as the company grows.
Why we need a Senior Full-Stack Developer:
We are looking for a motivated senior engineer, working with primarily Laravel, Typescript and React you will have a genuine opportunity to create innovative tools and set the technological direction of my client's products, making a noticeable impact on our team and our customers.
Upcoming projects:
• Frontend/backend development for our food safety tracking product
• Refreshing UIs
• Assisting with automation and infrastructure development across our product set using Docker and Terraform
• Building out micro-services architecture and feature development in the latest PHP and Laravel
• Assisting our data science team with producing novel machine-learning features
Our team is down-to-earth and we are keen to continuously involve and improve, allowing you to shape our culture, methods and tooling. The work is varied and challenging, and you will be involved in API design, implementing business logic, developing outstanding front-end UIs, and establishing a micro-service architecture for our growing portfolio.

• You know how to architect performant, secure, and maintainable Laravel applications from the ground up using SOLID principles
• You have knowledge of Docker, DevOps and CI processes and are used to working with AWS infrastructure
• You enjoy working with a mix of expertise; including data scientists, designers, mobile developers and business
• You are experienced with modern PHP 8, Laravel, testing, debugging and automation techniques
• You are experienced in front-end development and enjoy developing usable, accessible and outstanding user interfaces
• You have a wealth of expertise and wish to share your knowledge to help grow our development teams
• You have an interest in machine learning
• You have experience with Scrum agile development processes

• Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
