Senior Software Engineer

We are currently partnered with a company involved in Tech for good, they operate within the Housing Sector and their mission is to provide as many people as possible with affordable places that they can call their homes and allow them to live independently.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a very talented tech team, you will be diving into a pivotal role with the goal of designing, developing, delivering, supporting, and maintaining their web and mobile software solutions, as the Senior Software Engineer you will be collaborating with the Lead Software Engineer and adding value to the progression of Junior Developers by mentoring, supervising, code review, and driving the best practice forward.

Role: Senior Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Birmingham (2 times per month in the office the rest WFH)

What your day-to-day will look like:

• You play a pivotal part in the end-to-end development of their web and mobile software solutions.
• Working closely with the Lead Software Engineer to add value to the professional development of Junior Developers 
• Working on a huge migration project moving over from ASP.Net to .NET Core
• Managing stakeholders across multiple business functions both technical and non-technical when necessary

What Skillset you will hold:

• Extensive hands-on experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
• The ability to communicate well and manage stakeholders.
• Proven experience mentoring, supervising, and adding value to the professional development of Junior Developers.
