Role: Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £85,000pa
Location: Birmingham - Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office.


Are you a FrontEnd Developer or Software Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a industry-leading software company? My client specialises in security and anti-piracy and are now recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer to join their team.
This role can be carried out from any of their UK offices in York, London and Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be within a reasonable travel distance from any of these three locations to be within the office at least 2 days a week.


Main Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Working within a dynamic environment on a large-scale application to carry out the full development cycle and predict/resolve issues.
  • Experienced in building applications with frontend JavaScript frameworks.
  • Working with the team to cover multiple web disciplines and develop multiple technical areas within the business.
  • Require minimal direction to achieve meeting requirements, delivering work to the highest standard.
  • Hold strong development experience in web development, have an understanding of browser performance, and hold excellent design consistency and responsive design.
  • Key attention to detail in order to assist in deploying future web applications.
  • Bring knowledge of commercial software development to the team, working with applications such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


If you are currently specialising in frontend development with strong experience in building applications with React or JavaScript, are familiar with SCM concepts and VCS as well experienced in working to Agile/Waterfall methodologies then please get in touch.  The ideal candidate will have experience in using AWS services and will be familiar with database technologies such as MySQL or Postgres.
