Digital Waffle is working in partnership with an exciting and growing organisation who are seeking a highly skilled ITSM Solutions Engineer to join their team. The ITSM Solutions Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions for their clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ITSM best practices, experience with ITSM tools, and a strong technical background.

The ITSM Solutions Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions for their clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ITSM best practices, experience with ITSM tools, and a strong technical background.
To be successful in this role you must have experience in the following:
- Excellent analytical, collaborative (team working) with planning and execution skills
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Must be able to influence all levels of customer business to ensure a clear understanding of solution requirements and deliverables
- Practical experience in process management.
- Experience in developing and implementing process improvements
- Lateral mindset and approach to problem solving
- Strong technical awareness and an ability to translate 'technical to business' and vice versa
- Self-motivated with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals
- Experience in delivering governance practices to track and measure the quality of services,
- Good third-party management skills
Technical Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years experience of software delivery, software management and lifecycle management OR
- Minimum 4+ years managing and configuring a large service desk environment
- ITIL v3 and/or v4
- Good PowerShell or other scripting language
- Experience of MS SQL and/or Postgres databases
- Strong practical and demonstrable understanding of on-prem and/or cloud infrastructure configuration,
networks, firewalls and protocols - Knowledgeable in concepts and management of cloud-based SAAS solutions
