AV Technician

Audio Visual (AV) Technician - Birmingham

Up to £28,000 Per Annum.

My client is looking for an experienced commercial AV Technician, who ideally has previously worked in a stadium-type setting, to join them to help with technical support and in-stadium AV work.

Key Responsibilities of an AV Technician:

• Ensure that all AV Technology is tested and functioning perfectly prior to any events or conferences.
• Tuning wireless microphones and dealing with sound systems.
• Support the Media Production and Technology Manager.
• Identify, prevent and mitigate ANY technical problems within the audio-visual systems.
• Create and schedule IPTV content.

Essential Skills/ Experience:

• A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
• A current UK Citizen with no sponsorship needed.
• Excellent technical knowledge of end-to-end AV systems.
• Vast experience operating live AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, and audio mixing desks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in live events and broadcasts.
• Proficient with Pro Presenter, video playout software, digital signage systems, and IPTV.
