Job description

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager that will drive growth and success by identifying business opportunities, forging partnerships, and nurturing client relationships. With a strategic mindset and strong communication skills, you will expand our customer base, increase revenue, and shape the company's future.

Role title: Business Development Manager 
Salary: £30,000- £40,000
Location: Birmingham 
Hybrid working between office, client site and home.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy.
  2. Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
  3. Cultivate and maintain client relationships to deliver tailored solutions.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  5. Lead proposal development and close deals to drive revenue.
  6. Meet or exceed revenue targets, continuously monitoring performance.
  7. Position the company as a leading provider through strategic positioning and brand visibility.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams for cohesive business development efforts.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Proven sales or business development experience.
  • Experience selling Cloud Hosting & Managed Services (Remote monitoring, AV, Backup etc) is essential.
  • Experience/knowledge of Servers & Network Infrastructure. 
  • 2 years IT Sales experience. 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and independent.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid UK driver's license.
