Job Role: Business Development Manager 

Salary: Up to €70k (Dependent on Experience) 

Location: Munich – on-site working  

We are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join one of Germany’s Leading Game and VR Development Studios. The responsibilities for this role include developing and executing strategic business plans to drive sales and revenue growth, focusing on defence, emergency services, and security industries. This involves conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and understand the competitive landscape. Additionally, the role entails building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Collaborating with product development teams, coordinating promotional efforts with marketing and sales teams, and representing the company at industry events are also key responsibilities. Furthermore, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and C-level executives on business development activities, progress, and outcomes is essential. 

Skills you should hold (with over 3 years of experience):   
  • C1-level German and English languages are required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred  
  • Minimum three years of prior experience in military, law enforcement, or security sectors  
  • Proficient understanding of public procurement processes and regulations  
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to spot and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving revenue growth  
  • Capacity to work proactively, autonomously, and concurrently manage multiple projects
