C++ Engineer

Job Title: C++ Engineer
Location: On-Site Birmingham
Salary: Up to £80k 

Digital Waffle proudly works with a rapidly growing technology company that specializes in the development of innovative software solutions for the energy industry. Who is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented C++ Engineer to join their team.  

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance C++ applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and deploy complex software systems.
• Analyze and optimize software performance to meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Write technical documentation for developed software, including user manuals, installation guides, and technical specifications.
• Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software is delivered to clients.
• Work with clients to understand their software needs and provide technical support when required.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience developing software applications in C++.
• Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Visual Studio.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience or Knowledge of Yocto
• Provide experience in successfully testing code in CI/CD
