Digital Waffle has teamed up with a leading lighting and rigging supplier, that covers live events within the entertainment industry. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and optimize the operational aspects of their facilities.

The purpose of this role is to support core areas of the Company in respect of Facilities Management and H&S compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and more, to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all facilities comply with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards in coordination with our Health and Safety team.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and suppliers for repairs, maintenance, and facility improvements.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage facility budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing costs while ensuring high standards of operation.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise facility staff, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

  • A degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in facilities management gained in a warehouse environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations, in particular LOLER, PUWER and COSHH.
  • Advanced MS Office applications skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience working in the entertainment / live events industry.
