Job Role: Junior Industrial Designer

Salary: Up to €50k

Location: Sassenberg – Hybrid working

Language: C1 level German and English language skills

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Industrial Designer to join a design agency with a team of 40 passionate colleagues, working with national and international premium clients. They develop and implement top-notch brand strategies, communication concepts, and products. You'll play a vital role in bringing products to life, from brainstorming initial concepts all the way through to production and launch. You'll collaborate closely with the team throughout the design process, supporting decision-making and working alongside experienced designers. Your creativity will be put to the test as you develop physical prototypes, conduct user research and testing to refine your designs, and effectively communicate your ideas through sketches, models, and digital renderings. Finally, you'll confidently present your work to clients.

Skills you should hold:

• A degree or relevant training in product design (or similar field).
• At least 2 years of experience as a junior industrial designer (or similar role).
• A strong interest in new technologies, materials, and production methods.
• An independent and structured work style with a high level of creativity, commitment, and team spirit.
• Proficiency in common design software (like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) and 3D modelling programs (such as Rhino, SolidWorks, or Keyshot).
• Strong English and German communications skills – C1 level or above.
