Digital Waffle is working in partnership with a well-known global furniture manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic SQL DBA.

Job Purpose:
SQL DBA sought to join the IT team for a multi-national eCommerce company based in Redditch.
As SQL DBA you'll be primarily focused on the company's SQL Server Databases and platform, managing the production environment, and carrying out project and design work.

Other responsibilities include;

• Design and Implementation of new SQL Server instances
• Maintaining and MS SQL databases, including backups & performance and DR testing
• Ensuring that changes to Databases and SQL services align with operational and strategic
  plans.
• Supporting the BI and Development Teams using SSRS / SSIS and Power BI
• Supports the Group Infrastructure & Operations Manager with the development of technology
  roadmaps for all database systems.
• Keeping up-to-date with development and new technologies and practices, identifying and
  championing those most suitable to the firm's goals
• Working with other members of the Infrastructure team on occasional Windows Server /
  Virtualisation issues
• Your Skills & Experience should include;

• Excellent Knowledge of SSRS / SSIS
• Good knowledge of PowerBI
• Troubleshooting and optimising existing code and databases
