System Administrator/DevOps Engineer | CI/CD, IaC, Linux, Bash | Berlin
 
System Administrator with knowledge of Terraform, Gitlab, AWS and Docker is sought after by an ecommerce company who are the largest online marketplace in their industry. In this role, you will be an essential part of their website infrastructure and will be involved in maximising the availability of their platform to further increase their market dominance across Europe.
 
Duties of the role:

• Maintain and support their existing infrastructure
• Restore and backup data systems
• Monitor any server bottlenecks and optimize them as they arise
• Run diagnostics and troubleshoot errors
• Keep a record of any problem resolutions and prioritize issues as they come up
• Building CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment

 
Skills and experience required:

• At least 1 year of experience as an IT specialist/system administrator – ideally in a highly scalable web server environment
• Strong knowledge of backup systems, server hardware, software and storage
• Skills working in a Linux environment (ideally with Bash experience)
• Experience with Terraform (or IaC in general)
• Skills with Docker and Gitlab
• English language skills
