Job Title: UX Designer
Salary: £35-40k
Location: Cheshire (on-site)

A leading construction safety company dedicated to creating innovative solutions that keep workers safe using the latest advancements in AI technology is looking for a talented UX Designer to join their growing team and play a vital role in designing intuitive and user-friendly experiences for their safety products and digital platforms.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Understanding user needs: Conducting user research to understand the needs and pain points of construction workers, safety managers, and other stakeholders who use our products and platforms.
  • Designing user-centered solutions: Developing intuitive and user-friendly experiences for our safety software, mobile apps, training materials, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Prioritising safety: Ensuring that all designs prioritise user safety and promote safe construction practices.
  • Creating engaging interfaces: Designing clear, informative, and visually appealing interfaces that are easy to navigate and understand on a variety of devices.
  • Collaboration is key: Working closely with product managers, engineers, and safety experts to translate user needs into effective design solutions.
  • Staying on top of trends: Keeping up with the latest UX design trends and technologies relevant to the construction industry.

You'll be a great fit if you have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in UX design.
  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies (e.g., user research, prototyping, usability testing).
  • Experience with designing for complex applications and web platforms.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • A passion for construction safety and a desire to contribute to a safer work environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
