Job Role: UXR/UI Designer

Salary: €50-60k (Dependent on Experience)

Location: Munich – on-site working

We are looking to hire a UXR/UI Designer to join one of Germany’s Leading Game Developers, that can recognize the significance of smooth interactions and captivating interfaces. Your strength lies in creating digital experiences that are not only intuitive but also visually engaging and exceed user expectations. As an adept and imaginative UX Researcher and UI designer, you'll play a vital role in steering the company’s enterprise training and simulation interfaces from MVP to fully-fledged products. By conducting thorough UX research, you'll shape recommendations and establish a flexible design framework, transforming our current MVP UI into a unified "one UI" approach.

In this position, you'll closely collaborate with the product manager for thorough UX research, addressing user needs and preferences. Craft precise user personas and journeys, forming a user-centric foundation. Your insights will shape a guiding UX thesis and Click Dummy user testing will refine concepts. Develop interface solutions for complex user tasks and systems. Lead the overhaul of the MVP UI, ensuring consistency across products. Your role also involves continually enhancing the design framework to accommodate evolving features, ensuring a forward-looking solution.

Skills you should hold (with over 3 years of experience):
  • Advanced proficiency in UXR
  • Advanced skills in UI design
  • Familiarity with common UI/Wireframe/Useflow/Clickdummy tools (e.g., Figma, InVision)
  • Experience in conducting user testing
  • Participation or leadership in UXR and UI projects

Desirable skills you could hold:
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and JAVA
  • Experience in law enforcement or defence industry
  • Comfort in advocating for user needs
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JS coding
  • Basic understanding of APIs
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
