Azure DevOps Engineer
Cambridge (Remote)
£70k + Bonus

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join my clients dynamic team. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining their cloud-based infrastructure on the Azure platform. Your primary focus will be on automation, deployment, monitoring, and scaling of their cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure
  • Develop and implement deployment pipelines and release processes
  • Automate and optimise processes using Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure and services to ensure high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of code to production
  • Implement and maintain security and compliance policies in Azure

Requirements & Key Skills:
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts
  • Good experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and building IaC scripts, ideally with Terraform
  • Experience with automation tools such as: Ansible etc
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good experience with CI/CD e.g. Azure DevOps
  • Monitoring tool experience e.g. Prometheus, Grafana etc
  • Configuration tools e.g. Puppet etc
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
