We are proud to be working with a vibrant technology company in Hamburg on the mission to provide innovative solutions and actionable information to reduce global carbon emissions by transforming the transport and logistics industry!
They offer their customers an innovative data platform to measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and are passionate about minimising the industry's environmental impact and shaping a sustainable future. The team has been continuously growing since 2018 and have A LOT of exciting projects coming up.
Role: Data Engineer (2+ years)
Location: Hamburg
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Languages: German (fluent), English (proficient)

YOUR MISSION
You structure and link data sources with a sustainable and product-driven mindset; thinking outside the box
You take responsibility for the functionality and operation of data pipelines from proof of concept to in-production solution
You design and implement cloud-based data architectures and pipelines and efficiently handle large amounts of data
You work closely with our product management and platform team to find strategically optimal solutions
You use your instinct for practical solutions to achieve rapid progress for the respective purpose
YOUR SKILLS
You have 2+ years of experience as a developer or data engineer
Highly proficient in Python and SQL
You have experience with cloud architectures and DevOps processes (Azure, AWS)
You are familiar with database systems, data warehousing, data lakes and ELT/ETL pipelines
You communicate fluently in German (business fluent) and very well in English
You are a team player and highly motivated to actively participate in their mission
And finally... you have a sense of humor :)
