Job Title: Information Security & Privacy Training Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £70k - £85k DOE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join a dynamic InfoSec team. As a Learning and Development Specialist specializing in Information Security, you will play a critical role in designing, planning, and implementing comprehensive security and privacy training programmes. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our information security teams and subject matter experts to create engaging and effective learning materials tailored to the organisation's needs. You will also have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in Microsoft technology stacks to develop innovative training solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement information security and privacy training programs utilizing Microsoft technology stacks.
  • Collaborate with information security teams and subject matter experts to identify training needs and goals.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning materials, such as e-learning modules, videos, presentations, and workshops, to effectively convey security and privacy concepts.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to ensure training programs are learner-centric and impactful.
  • Review existing training programs; suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually, to deliver security and privacy training to employees across the organisation.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make continuous improvements based on feedback and metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in information security and privacy to ensure training programs align with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and privacy awareness into the organization's culture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in information security and training and development are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, preferably in the field of Information Security.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technology stacks, including but not limited to Office 365, Azure, and SharePoint.
  • Experience using Palo Alto.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Excellent instructional design skills with the ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
  • Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops to diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
