Insight and Performance Manager
Remote
Flexible. This role is part of a team that works across the UK. You can be homebased anywhere in UK, with occasional travel for meetings or you can choose to work full-time or hybrid from our Bristol or London offices.

The Insight and Performance Manager is pivotal in leading the Strategic Insight Team to meet its vision for information to be used to drive decision making and innovation across all areas of the charity. Which will involve leading a team of data and insight specialists, who work across the following: selections, data analysis and business intelligence.

This role is essential in promoting a culture of learning and improvement across the business. Your responsibility will be able to turn data into actionable insight, and in turn, provide recommendations that enable the entire business to better understand, measure and improve the impact of their work. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to surface the key problems that need to be tackled in order to drive their strategic objectives, which include: increased income growth, increased services reach and impact and deeper understanding of supporter behaviour. 

They will support us to make sure they have the systems and processes in place to maximise their use of data, both for now and the future!

Key responsibilities:

Team management 
  • Leading the daily team operations including adaptable and responsive team planning across the analysis, business information and selections functions (more information below). 
  • Providing line management, supervision and well-being support to team members. 
  • Overseeing methodology/analysis techniques, providing quality assurance and holding accountability. 
  • Ensuring and maintaining clear, compliant processes (e.g. data governance and data protection). 
  • Improving operational processes through task automation and/or software (e.g. SQL, Python, AI, etc.)
  • To be prepared to travel to other charity locations throughout the UK
