Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our IT support team in Warrington. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our staff, ensuring their technology-related issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Office 365, Active Directory, Intune (preferred), VoIP, and basic networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Administer and maintain Office 365 services, including email, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
  • Assist with Mobile Device Management (MDM), preferably with experience in Microsoft Intune.
  • Support and maintain VoIP systems and resolve related issues.
  • Basic networking troubleshooting and support.
  • Document and escalate technical issues as required.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and enhance user experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and its applications.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory user administration.
  • Ideally, experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), specifically Microsoft Intune.
  • VoIP support experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are advantageous.
