Job description

We are currently hiring for a Laravel Developer to join a remote UK-based team on a full-time basis. As a company, they are in the process of incorporating a new start up which the role will be for. They are developing SaaS applications for the Freight Forwarding sector, for commercialisation. If you enjoy working in a smaller team, where your voice can be heard and you have real influence and input in your work, then this would be a great opportunity for you. 

Location: London/Essex (with UK-based remote working)
Salary: £50k-£60k
Skills/Experience:
  • Strong Knowledge of TALL Stack web development
  • Experience with C++/Embedded software
  • Thorough knowledge of database architecture and management. Including a knowledge of SQL
  • Proven development experience in PHP, preferably with experience using Laravel Framework. 
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
  • Able to use multiple development languages, preferably node.js, Livewire, alpine.js, React.js.
  • Experience in the integration of third-party APIs
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript etc.
  • Experience in the development of internal API’s
  • Understanding of MVC frameworks
  • Understanding of S.O.L.I.D architecture principals
