As a Lead PHP Developer at Digital Waffle, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process, managing a team of developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Role: Lead Web Developer (PHP)
Salary £55-£65k
Location: Leeds (With UK based remote working)
Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle
Design and develop web applications using Laravel framework and AWS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects
Evaluate and improve existing systems to optimize performance and scalability
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in Laravel framework
Solid understanding of AWS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
