Marketing and Business Development Adviser

I am on the hunt for a Marketing and Business Development Adviser to join an International, global Law Firm within their Corporate and Finance team.

This law firm is known globally and covers all areas of law from immigration and criminal through to family and finance. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Marketing professional to support the marketing activities within the corporate and finance team. This role involves pitching, competitor analysis, profile raising and developing strong marketing campaigns.

Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

• The ability to coordinate client events in tandem with the events team, and professional support lawyers. 
• Happy to coordinate pitches and aid the pitch team to prepare for presentations
• At least three years of experience in a similar role
• Confident in your ability to report and write accurate content- contributing to the firm's deal reporting process, making sure they are accurately represented in Bloomberg
• Happy to collate information on deals, create strong pitches and proposals, and manage internet content
• Capable of liaising with the professional support lawyers to leverage know-how and identify appropriate communications through their knowledge and leadership platform
• Willing to participate in specific firm-wide marketing and Business Development initiatives and requirements
• Previous experience working within a BD (law) and marketing environment required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
• A general understanding of the legal market to aid comprehension of the terminology when speaking with partners would be desired
• Happy to work in a corporate environment

Ultimately, this firm is looking for a first-class communicator with a strong background in BD and Marketing. You will have bags of initiative and understand that working within a law firm requires the ability to work at pace and be somewhat commercially minded.
