Role: Network Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to 50k DOE

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Manager to join a fantastic Law Firm based in the heart of Manchester! In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining our secure and reliable network infrastructure.
  • Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of our data, complying with industry best practices and legal regulations.
  • Providing technical support to attorneys and staff, troubleshooting connectivity problems, and offering user training.
  • Working with vendors to maintain and upgrade network equipment and software.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and security threats.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Manager or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles.
  • Certifications eg CCNA, CCNP are desirable.
  • Experience working on Meraki networks.
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption techniques.
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with legal professionals of all levels.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
