Job description
We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our digital team. In this role, you will be working with other Developers and Designers to produce high-quality digital services. Aside from coding in PHP and JavaScript, this role involves working with the development team in planning development projects (from a code perspective) and then implementing the requirements. A keen eye for detail is essential and the ability to forward-think eventualities for multiple case scenarios is key.
Location: Birmingham/Hybrid

About the role
- Improving/developing our current systems and legacy code in CakePHP whilst we migrate and update it to Laravel in line with our client's requirements
- Taking an approved visual through build, testing and release.
- Building bespoke projects using Laravel/Vue.
- Building and using REST APIs
Skills/Experience:
- 3 years+ experience developing
- Strong PHP and Laravel experience
- Working knowledge of Vue/Nuxt.
- PHP unit testing
