PR Manager
Would you like to work with one of the UK’s leading brand agencies? If so, then this position is for you! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced agency environment, working with a range of clients across a multitude of industries (including both Retail and B2B).

About the Role
  • Developing, planning, and implementing a public relations communications plan with goals, budget, and tactics.
  • Creating and delivering PR campaigns.
  • Developing and implementing strategies, reviewing results, and making appropriate adjustments.
  • Coordinating all public relations efforts; seeking prominent placements in print, television, and internet media; and leading the PR Executive team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Making the most of current media connections and building new partnerships with business and industry media
  • Managing inquiries from the media and requests for interviews 
  • Conducting research and writing for press releases, by-line stories, and keynote presentations to specific media
  • Building relationships with industry leaders to increase industry awareness through monitoring, analysing, and communicating PR results and coverage, evaluating ongoing partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities, and preparing case studies, speeches, articles, and annual reports.
  • Maintaining a deep grasp of industry developments affecting clients and providing suitable recommendations regarding the communication strategy surrounding them.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Must have a degree or the equivalent in education; 
  • Have experience managing, assisting, and supervising a PR team
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills; 
  • Have a thorough understanding of PR strategy building, social media and PR concepts; 
  • Possess pitching, influencing, and negotiation skills;
  • You will draught new business proposals and presentations for the organisation, so you must comprehend how PR fits into a branding mix and how to cross-sell services for Champions in different markets. 
  • You should also be familiar with PR tools like Gorkana and Meltwater.
  • You should also have strong relationships with local and national businesses as well as industry media outlets.

Location: Loughborough
Salary - 40-45k (flexible)
