Job Title: Product Owner (Contract)
Location: Mansfield (80% Remote)
Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 12 months+

We are seeking a talented Product Owner to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to shape the direction of innovative products within a forward-thinking tech company.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with internal and external software engineering teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements on time and within budget.
  • Conduct market research and gather user feedback to inform product decisions, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
  • Champion user experience and interface design, driving improvements to front-end functionality and overall product usability.
  • Define and analyse key metrics to measure product success, iterate based on insights, and pivot when necessary.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within a SaaS or tech company, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders, both internal (e.g., product management, marketing) and external (e.g., clients, partners), to gather requirements and drive consensus.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working closely with software engineering teams to deliver successful products.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decision-making and measure product performance.
  • Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).

Location and Remote Work:
This position is based in Nottingham with the flexibility to work remotely 80% of the time.

Rate and Contract Terms:
The rate for this contract role is £400 per day, outside IR35.
